Shop her Dress | Shoes | Long Sleeve Tee
As a kid I loved back to school time and that feeling of brand new school supplies, so as a Mom, I love to live vicariously through my kids and their back to school shopping.
I've been chatting a ton about Back to School on Instagram and Amazon so I wanted to put together a roundup of Back to School outfits for girls!
You know I adore a ruffled dress but I also stand by the idea that school clothes should be play clothes. I want Georgia's school dresses and outfits to be comfy, adorable and budget friendly, knowing they will come home splattered with paint, coated in sand and covered in whatever was on the menu for lunch.
She should have fun and not worry about her clothes - and neither should her teachers - so these are our best wash and wear, budget friendly wardrobe staples.
And because I love to walk the walk, let it be known that we own almost every item on this round up and the things we don't are absolutely in my cart!
Row One: Peter Pan Collar Floral Dress | Navy Pique Polo Dress | Rainbow Tee Shirt Dress | Ruffle Neck Dress | Striped Pocket Dress
Row Two: Navy Gingham Dress | Raincoat | Plaid Dress | Red Ruffle Back Dress
Row Three: Apple Striped Dress | 3 Pack Biker Shorts | Watermelon Short Set | Long Sleeve Pink Apple Dress
Row Four: Knee Socks | Pink Natives | Red Mary Jane Sneakers | Glitter Converse | Days of the week socks

Navy Pique Polo Dress: I love these soft little dresses for school. They're appropriate, easy, have twirly skirts and you can make them special with a monogram.
Rainbow Tee Shirt Dress: We own and love this dress (in fact, I think we're now wearing it as a shirt with little biker shorts). It's soft and thick, perfect for anyone who doesn't love itchy material.
Ruffle Neck Dress: Another little dress we own in both colors and love! The material is thin, making it perfect for Southern Fall when it's just a tiny bit chilly in the AM but warms right up in the afternoons. It also looks adorable as a tunic with leggings in the cold months!
Striped Pocket Dress: We love t-shirt dresses, and this is no exception. The pockets add such a cute and fashionable touch.
Navy Gingham Dress: Another dress we own and can vouch for! This is the dress she's wearing in the image at the top of this post!
We own the seersucker version and love how easy it is to wash and wear. The navy gingham makes me think of Fall but the tie straps work perfectly for back to school in August temps.
Raincoat: Don't forget a raincoat when you're back to school shopping! I only manage to realize that we've outgrown ours when I run to grab it from the closet.
Plaid Dress: This is similar to the gingham dress above, but in this super fun plaid pattern and really well made!
Red Ruffle Back Dress: Ok, this dress is gorgeous. The ruffles and bow are adorable. While it may not be an "everyday" dress for school, it would make a perfect Picture Day dress! And also, how cute would it be with tights and a long sleeve tee layered underneath in the colder months??
Apple Striped Dress: This is a perfect "everyday dress." Its cotton, soft, and doesn't have a lot of structure, making it perfect for active little kids.
3 Pack Biker Shorts: Soft, and perfect length to throw on under any dress! A must have in a wardrobe. We wear these every.single.day, either under dresses or with a tee.
Watermelon Short Set: Ok, I love this outfit. It's adorable, has pleats, but isn't a dress!
Long Sleeve Pink Apple Dress: The former Mainer in me had to include a dress with sleeves! How cute would this be with knee socks??
Knee Socks: We own these and love how they stay up - plus the ruffle at the top is adorable.
Pink Natives: Our tried and true, year round shoe.
Red Mary Jane Sneakers: I threw these in here, because how cute would these be with that watermelon shirt and short set or that navy gingham dress?! I die!
Glitter Converse: Our preschool has a closed toe, no rubber shoes policy so we need sneakers come Fall. Even the girliest of girls will love these glitter converse. I'm not going to lie, I kind of want a pair for myself!
Days of the week socks: Immediately adding to cart!
