Thank you to Torani for sponsoring this post! Recipe, thoughts and opinions are my own.
If there was ever a time for a cocktail, I’d say it’s right about now!
The weather has warmed up here in North Carolina and we’re spending as much time outdoors as possible. Between watching the kids in the turtle pool and tossing the ball for the dog, I make sure to have a hand empty for my drink of choice. Come 5pm, that drink is my newest cocktail creation, the “Lemonade” Spritzer.
Truly, this is the easiest drink ever, and since grocery orders are a bit interesting right now, the ingredient list is teeny tiny and you can skip the garnishes and get right to good stuff if needed. Lemon sparkling water tends to have a bitter taste – certainly not like lemonade – so we’re reaching into our coffee cupboard for a little sweetness. That’s right, we’re using Torani Syrup in our cocktails! Torani Sugar Free French Vanilla Syrup is made with natural flavors and Splenda so it will add that perfect vanilla-y sweet flavor without adding any useless calories or carbs. You can snag it in the coffee aisle or here
Fun fact: this recipe is Keto friendly, low carb, low cal, low sugar, low everything and you are welcome!
And for my preggo mama friends, this is an amazing mocktail sans the vodka. When I was pregnant with my first born, I craved both lemonade and cocktails, so this would have made all of my summer baby dreams come true.
