I love gifting preschoolers!

They are in to such cool stuff – from playing outdoors to learning games and make believe, truly preschoolers are the ideal gift recipients!

This list features a round-up of gender neutral, STEM and STEAM based toys that are ideal for children ages 3-5. I am so excited for ya’ll to find the perfect gifts for your babes!

1. Color Changing Markers: these color changing markers were recommended to me by a mama friend who is an Occupational Therapist – practice coloring different colored lines, shapes and letters in a cool way!

2. Rock It Twist It: new from LeapFrog, the Rock It Twist It includes 12 games that teach literacy, math and problem solving.

3. Magna-Qubix: Magna-Qubix are a huge hit in my house – 3D shapes that are magnetic and build right along side the classic Magna-Tiles

4. Rainbow Night Light: we own and love this rainbow nightlight. It comes complete with a timer so it shuts off by itself and the light it produces is soft and clear.

5. Ocean Sensory Kit: sensory kits are big for me this year – and

this ocean kit will keep my kids entertained for hours

6. Water Wow Art Kit: perfect for mess free art days!

7. OSMO: Another rec from my Occupational Therapist friend, the OSMO Little Genius kit turns an iPad into a “holistic, hands-on learning approach for kids ages 3-5”.

OSMO encourages fine motor skills, communication, early literacy, world view and social-emotional learning with the interactive iPad app/characters.

8. Kinetic Sand: How someone created mess-free sand, I’ll never know but that’s exactly what Kinetic Sand is! It sticks to itself, builds unique shapes and really can be endless sensory play.

9. Wiki Stix: Anyone remember these?! We keep Wiki Stix in the car and in my purse for restaurants or long waits –

they make great stocking stuffers!

10. Geo Safari Binoculars: My 5 year old fell in love with these while playing with them at school – they are designed for kids and focus free, with large, soft eye pieces.

Bonus: they promise to be “built kid tough”

11. Building Gears: these building gears are on Gray’s list!

12. Stomp Rocket: I mean, what could be more fun than stomping on something as hard as you can to make a rocket fly? Low cost, low impact set up, easy to use, the Stomp Rocket is a winner in my book.

13. Animal Sensory Bin: another amazing sensory bin, this one complete with play dough and an animal theme.

14. Paint Art Set: the ultimate paint art set for your little artist. It comes with so many pieces, I would take them apart and use some as stocking stuffers!

15. Personalized Mini Guitar: a true working guitar in a mini size, complete with personalization.

16. Recycled Star Crayon Set: made from recycled and melted crayons, each star will come in a variety of colors.

17. Magna Doodle Travel Desk: anyone headed on a long road trip to see grandma? Or have a long commute each day? This travel desk is a must!

18. Flexible Race Car Track: this was a huge hit on Christmas last year in our house! The track itself is actually flexible when built – it can be rolled into a circle, shaped into any shape and comes in a rainbow of colors.

The race car that comes with the kit lights up and the track glows – and I can promise that the adults in the house had just as much fun setting up the track as the kids.

19. Number Puzzle: 30 puzzle pairs featuring numbers and shapes, work those fine motor skills and get them prepped for those giant family puzzle nights!

20. Dinosaur Memory Game: The classic memory game featuring dinos!

21. Personalized Super Hero Cape: Ok, I am here for this super hero cape. Each one can be personalized with your kiddo’s face and fave colors and you can snag a mask to match!

22. Magic School Bus Ocean Kit: We gave this to Gray for his birthday and he loved it! The kit includes all kinds of activities from shell identification to window clings.

It was created by a team of Harvard Scientists and features Ms. Frizzle, so you know it’s a slam dunk!

23. Galaxy Night Light: If you have a planet or solar system lover, this is the night light for you. A true projection lamp, it can project images of the night sky or the planets in six color settings.

It can be used as a nightlight on a separate setting.

24. Mini Scooter: we own this mini scooter and love it – the break on the back is safe and easy to use, the scooter can grow with your babe and it comes in a rainbow of colors!
