Oh hey, busty ladies!
Not long ago, we put together a massive round up of the best sports bras for bigger busts – and while that round up was amazing, the price points were absolutely on the high side.
I think we, as well endowed babes, have been conditioned to expect our bras and shape wear to be extremely pricey.
I happened to be in Walmart the other day, snagging some work out tanks for my new spin class habit, when a sports bra caught my eye.
I flipped the tag to see the price and couldn’t believe it was literally under $20.
I set out to destroy the Walmart active section in the hopes of scoring an amazing sports bra to fit all sizes (and yes, I mean plus too!) and all three activity levels.
After a ton of trying on, I found an amazing active bra for high impact, medium impact and even a low impact option, all for under $20.
Don’t forget that Walmart offers free 2 day shopping for orders over $35, so add my fave tank to your sports bra filled cart while you’re at it! Ok, let’s get down to the bras! I’m a DD/DDD depending on the cut and wear a Medium or Large in shirts, depending on length and chest area.
High Impact
The back of this bra is the best feature for me – the strap across the back is elastic under the keyhole, making the fit better and the process of getting it on and off a lot easier.
Honestly, there’s not worse feeling than getting stuck in your sweaty sports bra, am I right? The cups are molded with a shaped cup and the straps are padded to make longer wear with big boobies doable.
Medium Impact
Wearing a Large, available in sizes S-3XL
Adjustable but unobtrusive straps made this the High Impact winner for me. Nothing bothers me more than when the adjustable piece of the strap digs into your skin!
This bra is insanely comfy and I do feel locked and loaded, even though the neckline lower than our high impact option.
Bonus points to the wide waist band for doing some heavy lifting, giving my shoulder straps a bit of a break – I appreciate you!
Low Impact
wearing size Large, available in sizes XS-3X
If you’ve been following my Instagram stories, you know I’ve been raving about this bra. I’ve worn it to spin class and it would be perfect for low impact yoga, walking the ‘hood and running errands around town. I also sleep in mind, which has been amazing for my back!
There are no wires in this bra and just a simple pad that basically protects your nips from showing. The pads are in each cup and that’s really the only division between the two cups. If you had the pads, pop ’em out! I’m wearing the mauve and love the navy!
