Treat Yourself: Valentine's Day Gifts for Her
This post was written in partnership with Soma Intimates, all opinions are my own.
I had an epiphany on my last birthday: I can’t expect my husband to create the hoopla of my dreams for life events like anniversaries, Valentine’s Day or my birthday. Don’t get me wrong, my husband is incredibly sweet and a thoughtful gift giver, but he has know way of knowing that I want to spend my birthday alone (in silence) at the spa, or that I want a pair of sneaks for Valentine’s Day (that’s a super tricky one because I don’t work out. Like ever.).
So what’s a girl to do?
Well, she can start a blog and create very obvious wish lists posing as gift guides OR she can treat herself! That’s right, this year I’m giving you permission to take the reigns on your Valentine’s Day and order what you’re really after. A silk scrunchie to protect your second day hair? Perfect! A set of pajamas that feel like silky butter? You got it. Just in case you need a little inspiration, I put a list together with 16 little treats from you to you!
Treat Yourself: Valentine's Day Gifts for Her

1. Lace Bralette
We busty girls are always (always) on the hunt for a bralette. Rarely even made in our size, finding one that we can fit into and has a modicum of support has been an illusive task for me. Until now. Soma as a gorgeous lace plunge racerback bralette that runs up to size XXL/42 DDD. The straps are wide enough to hold the ladies up, but still delicate and lacy to give that ideal bralette effect. It is a wireless bralette, which I know can be scary, but a little added support comes from a wider under-boob band. I snagged the black version, but have my eye on the gorgeous Opal Grey shade as well.
I’m rocking a Large.

2. Tulip Top Vase
I love the delicate shape and detail of this little glass vase. Perfect for fresh blooms on your bedside table, it’s a great way to add a little beauty to your routine. I can’t speak for everyone, but a $4 bundle of mixed florals from Trader Joe’s goes a long way toward making me feel like my room is clean (when it obviously isn’t).
3. Satin Long Sleeve Notch Collar Pajamas
Ah, pajama sets. Truly, one of my greatest indulgences in life – I love to wear matching PJ sets. There are some days where I’m dreaming of crawling into my pajamas by noon, so the moment I can finally slap a matching set onto my body and climb into bed is one that I relish. Over the holidays, I was obsessed with my Soma Cool Nights PJ’s and now that it’s Valentine’s Day, I’m living in my Satin Soma version. Thanks to soft blush pink and white stripes with a classic fit, this is the set I’m gifting my own mom for Valentine’s. As a bonus, I’m tall at 5’9″ and medium the pajama bottoms are a great length on me, something I rarely find!

4. Robe
The only time I’ve ever purchased a robe for myself was right before I was set to deliver my first born. It’s time that I bought a robe that makes me feel beautiful, even when I’m taking off my makeup and slapping on a charcoal mask. I think this one is up to the task.
5. Suede Flats
I live in flats because, quite honestly, I can’t chase down my toddler in heels, and this pair is a gorgeous shade of dusty rose suede. If you’re rocking that work wardrobe, check out that black pair!
6. Perfume
Because how can you not feel fancy when you smell like “the euphoric feeling of falling in love”?
7. Silk Scrunchie
The scrunchie is back! A silk scrunchie is perfect for overnight wear to prevent your curls from tangling or creasing from a traditional hair tie.

8. Gold Bangle
A classic wardrobe staple, I wear a simple gold bangle daily. I chose this particular version for the inscription which reads “a heart of gold” (the price point doesn’t hurt either!).
9. Jewelry Tray
I love the gold feet on this little tray! Perfect for you vanity or dresser top, I would fill it with my everyday jewelry and the little knick knacks my son brings me home from school (most recently, a button from the playground and leaf from our yard that looks like a heart).
10. Gemstone Phone Case
My current case is crusted in yogurt and coffee so I’m treating myself to this gemstone patterned stunner.
11. Pink Sneaks
Great for keeping up those New Year’s Resolutions or for running to carpool, I might need to treat myself to a pair of these.

12. Tortoise Earrings
An everyday classic in a funky shape, throw these on with jeans and a tee (plus the pink suede flats!) and you’re out the door.
13. Sunglass Tray
For anyone who is forever losing their readers or sunnies, pop this tray next to your entry and you’ll always know where they are.
14. Art Print Vows
Is there anything sweeter than your wedding vows framed and hung in a special spot in your home? We had our vows and the lyrics to our first dance song framed and I love looking at them on a daily basis.
15. Short Sleep Set
If you’re a hot sleeper (or sleep next to one), this cute little short sleep set is for you.
16. Sleep Shorts
If pajama sets aren’t your thing, I love this little set of sleep shorts paired with a soft cotton tee for optimal nocturnal comfort.
Happy heart day, my friends!
