Blogger Status Revoked

Where has the Summer gone?

I can't believe how long it's been since I've blogged - I have so much to tell you and so many fun projects coming up but every time I open my laptop, something else seems to distract me. Maybe it's Summer, maybe it's travel or the lack of routine or maybe I'm just off of my game, but whatever it is has got to change because I miss this space.

So, here's the plan: this week I'm going to (finally) post about my new make up routine that has now been professionally honed, how I feel about dining out with a toddler and the one thing I wish I owned when we welcomed our offspring into the world.

Speaking of said offspring, our daredevil turns two this month and received his first round of stitches/Dermabond over the weekend. He will be perfectly fine and isn't in any pain, and, if I'm being completely honest, I suspect this will not be our last trip to the ER for stitches with our wild one.

On a random note, many of you asked about the cocktail I posted on Instagram last night and I don't have a super detailed recipe but it goes a little something like this:
Blood Orange Margarita

San Pellegrino Blood Orange
a squeeze of lime juice
rub a slice of blood orange along the rim and sugar it

Drink up!
Ok, I'll see you kids tomorrow, promise!

  1. That drink looks delicious. I can't believe your little boy is going to be two. I feel like you just had him! Time goes by so fast.

    1. Two is crazy right?! And drive down to G'ville and I'll whip you up a drink or two! xo

  2. Don't even stress about posting, it's summer!! Go enjoy it... I know I am going to put that Blood Orange Margarita on my meal plan so my productivity has just hit an all time low, or maybe it won't. Maybe the alcohol will help me finish some of those posts sitting in my drafts

  3. You totally re-earn your blogger status with that drink!

  4. Need that drink now! I don't think a photo has ever looked so delicious.

  5. My now 9 year old had to get her forehead glued back together when she was 3. Traumatic at the time, now a scar with a story. You got this!
