(Sorry if the Nav bar looks weird today, blame it on the personality box I so artfully copied and pasted into this post)

Today’s Blogtember asked me to take this fun little personality test and then share my results.

hmmmm….if you’ve read Bad Bride then you can understand my hesitation to share with ya’ll just how nutty I really am. I assumed my test results would crash the system instead of providing actual results. Or perhaps it would just pop up with “Crazy, Party of 1” as my result category.

Interestingly enough, my test answers resulted in the following score:

Your Type
ESFJ
Extravert(33%)  Sensing(12%)  Feeling(19%)  Judging(56%)
  • You have moderate preference of Extraversion over Introversion (33%)
  • You have slight preference of Sensing over Intuition (12%)
  • You have slight preference of Feeling over Thinking (19%)
  • You have moderate preference of Judging over Perceiving (56%

Read those results carefully my friends.
Not one “strong” or “definite” in the bunch!

This is like the time we took the Love Languages Test and Justin scored all 5 love languages within one point of each other. You should score with at least one Love Language as your dominate one, sometimes two Languages score close together. Justin had them all within one point of each other. I looked at him and said, “see how hard it is to love you?!”
Super supportive wife, right here!

Anyway, I do think it’s interesting that I only scored a 33% preference of Extraversion over Introversion. I think most people who meet me for a short period of time would assume that since I’m pretty outgoing in a social setting or work environment, that I must be an extreme extrovert. The truth is that I definitely need time to reset in a setting that is calm and quiet – and if I’m stressed out, I need, like, days to reset in a calm/quiet environment. I mean, honestly, loud noises make me jump out of my skin and my heart race. What a weirdo.

Luckily, my family and my husband know how secretly (not so secretly) thin skinned I am and make sure that I am shepherded into my safe zone when things get crazy. And if there is no safe zone in sight, they wait until I completely panic and then laugh at me until I am laughing at myself.

That’s true love, ya’ll. True Love.

In all seriousness, the Portrait of a ESFJ states that this personality type is known as the caregiver, who at their best are warm, sympathetic, helpful, cooperative, tactful, down to Earth, practical, thorough, consistent, organized, enthusiastic and energetic.
ESFJ’s  enjoy tradition, security, and will seek stable lives that are rich in contact with friends and family.
(And on the bad side ESFJ’s have a strong need to be liked and in control….I couldn’t resist adding that because it’s funny and true…see, I need ya’ll to like my blog for goodness sake!)

P.S. Welcome to those of you who popped over from Girl in the Red Shoes!
Hope this post didn’t scare you off forever!
